The assistant
What it does, where its facts come from, and what happens to what you type.

What it does
Ask about your mini-league in plain English and get an answer about your league. Who has the best captain record. Who has paid for hits all season and got nothing back. Who owns the template. Who is being carried by one player. Whether your rival is actually better or has simply been luckier.
Three things run on AI:
- Questions about your league, asked the way you would ask a mate.
- A roast of one manager, on demand.
- A written gameweek roast for the whole league, in the tone you pick.
Everything else, the table, live scores, the bench receipt, lineups, ownership, head to head, awards, the player list, fixture difficulty, the planner, your week and your season, is free and stays free.
Why it can be trusted with your league
A roast only works if it is true. The first invented hat-trick ends the joke, so the assistant is built so it cannot invent one.
The numbers are worked out before it writes. Points, ownership, prices, transfer costs, fixtures and the rules of the game are all computed from the official Fantasy Premier League data and handed over as fact. The assistant brings the wording and the timing of the knife. It does not do the counting.
Roasts are written from claims that have already been checked. If anything comes back that is not on that list, it is thrown away and you get a plain receipt of what actually happened instead. You are never shown a joke nobody verified.
It shows its working. An answer comes with the figures behind it, so you can check any claim before you paste it into the group chat.
It only sees your league. It reads through a small set of specific functions, each of which checks for itself what you are allowed to see. It cannot wander into somebody else’s league.
It stays on FPL. Programming, homework and general knowledge are turned down here, before anything is sent anywhere, so a wasted question costs you nothing from your allowance.
What it cannot do
It can still be wrong, and it can phrase something true in a misleading way. It has no idea what will happen on Saturday, and nothing it says is advice. It cannot see or change your real FPL team, and this product has no way to make a transfer for you.
Scores are provisional until a gameweek settles. Bonus points move, substitutions resolve late, and the game rescores goals days afterwards. Anything provisional is labelled as such, and the write-up is redone once the gameweek is final.
What happens to what you type
Your question, and the league facts needed to answer it, go to Anthropic, who run the model that writes the reply. They do not use it to train anything. BanterBoost stores no questions and no answers. What is kept is that a request happened, which feature it was, and what it cost to run. Not one word of the content. There is no chat history, here or anywhere, to read back.
A written league roast is saved so that a shared link opens without paying for it twice. That is published writing about a public league rather than a private conversation.
What it costs
- Signed in: 5 free questions to try it. That is 5 in total, not 5 a month, so it does not come back.
- Pro: 100 a month.
- Signing in is what switches it on. Everything else works without one.
That ceiling is a fair-use brake rather than an unlimited plan, and this product will not use the word “unlimited” about it. It sits at roughly ten times what somebody having a very good season gets through, so a person will not meet it and a script will.
Where the line is
Roasts are about football decisions: a captain who blanked, a bench that outscored the team. Never about a person, their appearance, their family or anything protected. If you see something that crosses that line, it is a defect rather than a matter of taste. See acceptable use for the rules and how to report it.
