Terms
What you get, what it costs, what is expected of you, and how to leave.

BanterBoost is operated by Adi Rosenstock, an individual based in Costa Rica. Using it means accepting what follows.
What this is
A dashboard and an assistant for Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues, built to make fun of team selection. BanterBoost is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
Who can use it
Anyone aged 16 or over. A league is readable by anyone holding its link, and no account is needed to read one. An account exists so the product remembers which FPL manager you are.
What you agree not to do
The full standard is on the acceptable use page, and it is part of these terms. In short: no using this to harass anybody, no attempts to break the free allowance through multiple accounts, no scraping or automated hammering, and no attempts to get the assistant to write something it is built not to write.
Accounts that do these things get closed. Where the humour crosses the line drawn on that page, that is a defect in this product and it will be treated as one.
The free allowance and Pro
Reading a league, sharing it, the tables, the receipts and the fixtures are free and are not limited. The assistant is what costs money to run, so a signed-in visitor gets a small number of questions each month at no charge, and Pro raises that substantially.
Prices, what is included, and the current allowances are shown at the point of purchase. Pro is billed monthly or annually through Stripe and renews until you cancel.
Monthly allowances are a fair-use brake and not a promise of a fixed number forever. They are set so that somebody using this normally never meets them. If one is ever lowered, that is a change to what you are paying for, so it will be announced before it takes effect and you can cancel and be refunded for the rest of the period. The same goes for the price: a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
The assistant
Pro includes an AI assistant that answers questions about your league and writes the roasts. How it works, what it is given and what is done with what you type is set out on the assistant page, and that page is part of these terms.
Two things follow from it being AI. It writes from numbers worked out in advance, so it is grounded in your league rather than making things up, and it is still a language model that can get something wrong or word it badly. Read it as banter, not as fact-checked journalism, and never as advice about a transfer.
What it writes for you is yours. Screenshot it, paste it in the group chat, put it on a share card. Two limits: do not present it as coming from the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League or BanterBoost itself, and do not use it as material for having a go at somebody, which the acceptable use page covers.
Similar questions from different people produce similar answers, so nothing generated here is exclusive to you.
Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time, from your account page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- 14 days to change your mind. Ask within 14 days of a payment and it will be refunded. This matches the statutory right UK and EU consumers already have, and it is offered to everybody rather than only to them.
- If the assistant is broken or unavailable for a meaningful stretch of a paid period, ask for a refund and you will get one. You are not expected to argue about it.
What is not promised
The football data comes from Fantasy Premier League and is only ever as correct and as current as what they publish. Provisional gameweeks change, bonus points move, and automatic substitutions are not final until FPL says they are. Anything marked as provisional here is exactly that.
Nothing here is advice. Do not make a transfer because of something this product said, whether a number, a projection or a joke.
This is a small product run by one person. It can be down. Nothing here is a guarantee of availability, and the sensible expectation is a hobby-scale service that tries hard.
Your content and other people
League and manager names come from FPL and belong to whoever wrote them. Roasts and share cards are generated about public league data. If something written about you is wrong or crosses the line, say so and it will be dealt with.
Searching for your team by name works against a directory built from the standings FPL already publishes. It holds a team name, a manager name and a rank, and nothing about anybody’s squad. Being in it does not mean a team has been read into this product. If you would rather not be findable there, get in touch. There is no button for it yet, so it is handled by hand, and it stays done: once you are taken out, nothing puts you back.
A league link is public to whoever holds it. Treat sharing one as publishing it, because that is what it is.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Accounts can also be closed for the behaviour described above. If an account is closed while Pro is paid for, the unused part is refunded.
Liability
This is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and any liability that does arise is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be signed away.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Costa Rica, and disputes belong to its courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of your own country’s consumer law.
Changes, and getting in touch
The date at the top says when these last changed. If a change matters, it will be visible rather than silent. Questions go to the person who built this, on LinkedIn.
